I am unsettled with the current (and ongoing) status of the world: Poverty, racism, bigotry, war, and the breakdown of families . . . all results of disregard for human life. Our material-world media constantly reminds us of the great lives we can have - by having more, buying more, and satisfying our own comforts. We forget that others are going without. Yet, I know that most people are good, and genuinely care. We just get caught up in the status quo.
Messages have power. It is good to stop and think about what we are being told and what we are accepting as truth. In my discernment of truth, I became aware that what we believe (our faith/philosoply/or absence of) has a great bearing on the choices we make, whether we realize it or not.
Thus, this outreach began. May it open up conversation, increase respect for one another, and inspire a greater search for meaning in life.
