FOR PIKANGIKUM FIRST NATIONS:
Our Christmas Craft Sale and Tea was held on Saturday Dec. 10, 2016.

This was a fund-raiser for Pikangikum, a First Nation community in Northern Ontario. It was also an opportunity for local artists to showcase and sell their work. We were very happy to raise over $1300 for Pikangikum with the funds going to help provide water and other essentials to the community, mostly through The Pikagikum Project.
The warm, caring atmophere of this event enabled many important conversations to take place... as still so many Canadians really don't know the poverty that exists in our own country. We are greatly thankful for all who helped make this fundraiser successful!
